Practicing self-care at home is perfect for moms who are too busy to visit their local spa. You can start by having your partner give you a soothing massage. Not only can this spice up the intimacy between you two, it’ll also be a relaxing treat for you. Take your pick from a variety of massage oils such as scented massage oils or massage candles and have your partner work their magic.
If massages don’t peak your interest or you don’t have a partner, bubble baths are the next best thing. Showers are great when you’re on the go, but sometimes you need to slow down and let the warm water relax your muscles. Find a great scented bubble bath, play your favorite music or read that book you keep putting off, and unwind. If you want to add more excitement to your bath session, try a vibrating sponge.
Slip on Something Nice
Lingerie is self-care. When you look good your feel good. Regardless if you’re single or not lingerie is for everyone. Something about the feeling of lace or silk against skin is satisfying. Slipping on something sexy also is a reminder that you aren’t just a mom; you’re a sexy, fierce and powerful woman!
Self-care practices allow you to cater to yourself and ultimately produce a better you. Don’t forget about yourself this month. Schedule the time for some self-love.
